Our algorithm matches candidates to companies and opportunities based on values, qualifications, experience and skills. It's driven by your preferences and experiences (preferred sector, location, qualifications, etc.) and what employers are looking for in candidates, to ensure a perfect match for everyone.

Opportunities that you are eligible to apply for will show an 'Apply' button at the bottom of the ad. When you're not a match, you will notice that this button is greyed out. This is normally because the employer has asked for an essential skill, ability or proof of experience that you currently don't have on your e-CV.

In this instance, we suggest you:

  1. Update and validate your e-CV to see if you match.
  2. If that doesn’t work, don't be afraid to message the employer and tell them how wonderful you are even though you don't fit their exact criteria right now. Just make sure your message is relevant and on point.
