Our matching algorithm matches candidates to companies, jobs, and opportunities based on values, characteristics and experiences, drawn not just from educational and work history, but from non-work experiences that make a person who they are - the sporting achievement that relies on teamwork, or the volunteering that shows real commitment, for example.
For roles that require specific skills or qualifications, you can also filter applications based on those requirements. We also encourage companies to offer training and development opportunities like open days, internships and more – giving back as well as providing opportunities for you and candidates to proactively engage and learn more about each other.

Companies create an online company profile detailing who they are and what they do. This enables you to build your employer brand amongst users of the site, who can also contact you if you give users that option.
You can then either search candidates on the site, or post job advertisements or other employment opportunities which will be promoted to a targeted audience, based on your requirements. Candidates can only apply if they fulfil your needs, and we promote your jobs to the most suitable candidates using our matching algorithms.

Our candidates are young people who are starting out in their careers. That includes recent school leavers or university graduates, people who are already in their first or second role and looking to develop or change their career, or young people currently at school or university who are thinking about their future and how to get their first step on the career ladder.
*We permit companies to offer short unpaid work experience programs when it provides a genuine training opportunity focused on developing a candidate’s skills.
Candidates can search for your company or the opportunities you’ve posted, find your profile or job ads through browsing the site, and we will also match and promote companies to candidates based on their preferences.
Alternatively, you can search for candidates and approach them directly to invite them to apply for opportunities (via the messaging service on the site).
To start with, your company profile will include just the data you entered when you signed up. The more you fill out your profile, the more attractive you’ll become to potential candidates as they get a feel for what you’re about and what you can offer as an employer. As you write your profile, the site will prompt you for different elements you need to add about your team, company history, business objectives, and more.
